The idiot-light in your vintage bike's cockpit will only tell you so much and leaves quite a lot to be desired. This solid 6061 aluminum mount will allow you to easily and cleanly add any 1.5" gauge to your triple tree, frame, or any creative mounting location. The offset mounting provides a range of locating and attachment options for your self-supplied oil-pressure, voltage, tach/speedo, or water temp gauge.
This mount will securely hold both mechanical and electronic gauges. It's beveled face seats the gauge's outer ring and self-centers the entire gauge in the mount. There is a small setscrew in the side to lock-in gauges that do not have mounting rings on the backside.
Each mount is machined, inspected and packaged in the USA, exclusively for Thistle Moto®. Not a cast and plated lump of junk, this solid aluminum mount is a workhorse of American manufacturing and will survive the rigors of vintage and modern applications.
The finish is bare aluminum with no polish, no plating, no coating, no paint, and no powder coat. This is intentional as the options for finishing are left up to you, or the mount can be used bare and blend in naturally with any build.

The mounting hole is conservatively bored to 7mm/0.28" to allow for mounting as-is or drilling-out and tapping for 8mm fasteners.
Grade A items are virtually scratch and scuff free, but still are considered a raw part and may require final polishing for a 100% perfect finish and surface.
Grade B items have visible scratches and scuffs (though nothing major) and WILL require final finishing to look perfect. None of these imperfections affect fit or function.
